MN Landscape Arboretum
Carver County Day at the Arboretum is Friday, August 8. All Carver County residents will receive free admission to the Arboretum on August 8th. At 9:45am, there will be a welcome event with refreshments and a bag of handouts.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER SERVICE
Minnesota Conway Fire and Safety will be servicing fire extinguishers at the Chaska Fire Station located at 285 Engler Boulevard from 10:00 am to noon on Friday, October 3rd. For a nominal fee you can have your fire extinguisher inspected, refilled, or replaced.

COOKING FIRES ARE THE LEADING CAUSE OF FIRE
Cooking fires cause hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries in our nation each year.  Recently, the Chaska Fire Department has responded to three kitchen fires, one of them resulting in an injury.  This fact, along with the more than $2.5 million in property loss, make reducing these statistics a priority to the Chaska Fire Department.
